Ingredients (for six people):
- A kilo and a half of pork ribs
- An onion
- Two cloves of garlic
- 150 g of butter
- Half a cup of vinegar
- 200 ml of ketchup
- Two tablespoons Wortershire sauce
- One teaspoon of mustard powder
- One teaspoon of red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- Onion and garlic powder
- 50 g of sugar
Method of preparation:
To begin, we put in a pot two liters of water and add the onion and garlic. When they boil, we put the ribs and let them cook for about 20 minutes. In a separate bowl, we prepare the barbecue sauce. To do this, melt the butter in a saucepan and then add vinegar, water, ketchup, Wortershire sauce, mustard powder, chili powder, pepper, salt, sugar, onion, and garlic in powder. We mix everything over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring so that it does not thicken too much (you can add more water in this case). When it has the right consistency, we remove it from the heat and reserve.
Once we have let the ribs cook for 20 minutes, we dry them on absorbent paper, and it will be time to place them on the grill of our barbecue. With the help of a brush, we will cover each of the pieces with the barbecue sauce that we have prepared. Then, we will have to let them brown on both sides. It will be about half an hour on each side, but, as with meat recipes, it will depend on the point at which we like meat. Perfect for a barbecue with friends!
